Session:

Sessions are casual and fun and take place on location, whether that be a nearby park, lake or in the comfort of your own home.  When you contact me I will go over all the details and find out what type of photos you are looking for.  This way a perfect location can be chosen. 

At each session I strive to capture your children's/families personality and character.  With my own children/family, the photos I love most are the ones that capture and display who they are, silly faces and all!  Sessions can last up to two hours, which allows plenty of time for the needs of smaller children to be met.

***I'm a natural light photographer and only offer "studio type" shots for newborns and small babies.  Please contact me for more information.

Proofs & Prints:

Your 30-40 proofs from your session will be available online, for your viewing within 2 weeks of your session date.   They will remain online for 10 days, after that they will be archived.  If you do NOT order in this time frame a $25.00 fee will be applied to have your gallery put back up again.  After your session you will be emailed a link to your online gallery to view and share with your family and friends.  Each photo will have a corresponding proof number, which you will use to place your order.  You can place your order by phone or email.

Your prints will be ready in 4-6 weeks after full payment has been received.  All prints are professionally printed on Kodak Endura paper and prints 11x14 and larger are mounted on styrene for added stability.

In the case you do not have access to a computer or internet I would be more than happy to show you the proofs in person, just ask for more details.

Clothing:

Clothing is very important so please remember that simple timeless pieces look best.       Try and stay away from anything too busy with logos or characters.  This only distracts from your children/family, and we want them to be the focus of the photos. 

For family portraits it’s always nice if the colors and clothing are similar in tone and compliment each other.  Some good suggestions for classic style photos are jeans, khakis, cords, overalls without a shirt for little boys look adorable.  Simple dresses for little girls and going barefoot is always preferred!  If you are looking for something more trendy please feel free to bring along whatever you think brings out your child's/families personality and what everyone is most comfortable in.  After all, capturing your child's/families personality is what Tesa Leeder Photography is all about!

Also if your child has a keepsake, teddy, toy or blanket you are more than welcome to bring it along. 

Newborns:

If you would like photographs of your newborn please contact me as soon as your baby is born, if not before!  Newborns are best photographed in their first few weeks of life, when they still have that new, wrinkled, and curled up look.  I will always make time  for a newborn shoot, as I know in order to capture your babies “newness”, it must be done in the first two weeks of life before the wrinkled up moment is gone!
